Looking for more?
If by chance none of those interested you, there are lots more floating rentals in North America. I can’t wait to stay in one myself. David has said many times jokingly (or maybe it was serious) that he’d like to sell our home and live on a boat. My smart-alec response is always “send me a postcard when you get to a port.” Maybe spending a few days in one of these rentals will give us a taste of what that life would be like. Who knows, I might decide its something I’d actually enjoy!
VRBO has every type of rental you can imagine, from standard motel rooms to traditional homes to exotic adventures like tree houses and floating homes. We’ve used them many times for our own personal vacations. Check them out, or even list your own home as a rental when you are away. Listing is free!
