Book Review: The World’s Greatest Book: The Story of How the Bible Came to Be by Lawrence H. Schiffman & Jerry Pattengale
The Bible is the most popular, most read, most studied, and most purchased and distributed book in all of history. It is also the most translated book. It has literally shaped history and transformed the souls of millions of individuals who have had access to its numerous nuggets of theological wisdom.
Reading the Bible will stir up inklings of curiosity as to how it came to be. Who wrote it, when did they write it and what ancient message is it conveying? If it is written by over 40 authors how did it come together to be one book? Certainly 40 authors cannot agree on one subject, yet it seems to collaborate on numerous issues. How is this so?

This book is very detailed and smoothly written with little fluff. It is informative and enlightening. After reading it you will have a greater grasp of the Bible and a deeper appreciation for it. I highly recommend it to anyone who is curious as to how the Bible came to be. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars, excellent reading!
